EMDR is often the fastest path to relief we have available. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro and recognized globally as a first-line treatment for PTSD and trauma.
It works by using bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they lose their emotional charge. When trauma is experienced, memories can become frozen in the nervous system. EMDR unfreezes these memories, allowing them to be processed and stored as past events rather than relived as present experiences.

It is particularly well suited for individuals who experience emotions as overwhelming and unpredictable, who struggle with impulsive behaviors, or who have difficulty maintaining stable relationships.
